Best In Show at the Members Show held at Darlington
Night Show held on 15th February 2014.
The latest night show held in conjunction with Egremont Fur & Feather took place on the 15th February at the Church Hall in Egremont.
A good night was had by both groups of Fanciers; this included an “Egg Dumping” competition. On this occasion the chicken fancy came out on top!!
There was also a good raffle on the night and plenty of refreshments available.
Big thanks to Evelyn & Fiona for serving the refreshments to both sets of fanciers.
Now to explain how our night Shows work.
A flyer is sent out with the date, time & place of the Show.
No entry form is sent out, as entries are taking on the night, and the classes made up from what the members declare they have brought.
The birds for one class at a time are penned, and then judged with the winning bird going onto “Victory Row”. Between judging and the next class being called, the judge leaves the room.
